Jordan Brand continues to show they know how to celebrate the brands 30th anniversary with a true 30th anniversary retro of the one that started it all, the Air Jordan 1 "Chicago". Back in 2013 Jordan released what many considered a subpar retro of the Air Jordan 1 Chicago, which featured a leather tongue and jumpman branding on both, the tongue, and the heel. For 2015, Jordan blessed us with a remastered Air Jordan 1 OG High featuring some of the better materials we've seen lately, as well as the Nike Air branding we all have grown to love on the Air Jordan 1. I myself grabbed 2 pairs back in 2013 when the Chicago 1's released but as I previously mentioned, most people seemed to be pretty upset with the mediocre iteration of such a classic shoe, but it seems that patience has paid off for all of us and we've been presented with a damn near perfect retro version of the Air Jordan 1 Chicago that really set things off for a year full of great Air Jordan 1 releases. Unfortuniately for many of the Air Jordan 1 lovers, the Chicago 1's became almost impossible to get your hands on when they released due to a last minute cancelation of Nike's online release, which just drove the hype through the roof, with the resale prices going through the roof as well. I know these were a must have for me, and hopefully you guys were able to get your hands on a pair, or two.
Check out some pictures a took after picking up a pair of the Remaster Air Jordan 1 OG High Chicago, these were actually the first pictures I took after upgrading to my new Canon 6D DSLR, which is amazing by the way. Let me know if you were able to get your hands on the Air Jordan 1 Chicago and what you think of the remastered mold and quality.
