The boys out at Concepts are back with another pair of collaborations with their Boston Neighbors, New Balance. With New Balance's Made In The USA 997 making its return, it only seems right that New Balance would reach out to Concepts, who they've had a long history of collaborations with, to help create some buzz around 997's with a couple of collaborative efforts on the model. With the 997 being a higher end in-line model, in made sense Concepts took inspiration from premium brands such as Rose and Hermes. The result, The Concepts x New Balance 997 "Rosé" and "Luxury Goods", both kept the premium motif, sporting colorful uppers made of high quality leather and suede. Concepts definitely went all in on these two pairs and created a set of very uniquely colored and super premium 997's. Sadly, the release dates for both pairs have long passed but if you want to open your wallet up, I'm sure there are pairs one ebay and up on consignment shops websites.
Take a look at some recent pictures I took of both the Concepts x New Balance 997 Collaborations, the "Rosé" and the "Luxury Goods". What do you think of the set? Were the colors too much for you? Or exactly what you're looking for? Either way, check out the detailed shots below and let me know if you were able to get your hands on a pair.
