With a release only a few days away, we're finally getting a full look at the entire Kith "Landmarks" collection which includes 2 collaborative sneakers from Ronnie Fieg, and New Balance, along with a 12 piece apparel collection inspired by the sneakers. For this post, we're taking a look into the "Central Park" NB 530 and the apparel that coordinates with the sneaker. The "Central Park" New Balance uses the 530 as a base, and adds a ton of small but intricate details to bring the Central Park theme to life. According to Ronnie, The "Central Park" 530's color scheme is supposed to resemble Central Park during the fall season, mixing a rich, quilted, pig skin suede Burgandy upper, along with an off-white micro perforated toe wrap. The use of reflective 3M "Goldenrod" yellow accents on the "N" logos and under the burgundy netting are some key details that make the "Central Park" stand out. A tonal leather heel features an oversized "530" logo in the same classic font used on NYC street signs, combined with a rubberized NYC Parks and Recreation logo on the tongue and a printed map of Central Park on the insole to round out the details used to pay homage to the historic New York City Park. The "Central Park" 530 will come packaged with 3 sets of custom laces, and will retail for $185 USD on Friday.
To coincide with the release of the New Balance 530 "Central Park", Kith will also be dropping a "Landmarks" apparel collection which offers a few pieces to match each sneaker from the "Landmarks" pack. A few outerwear pieces including the Furman Jacket($200), Jackson Pant($125) and the Ramble Hoody($130) combine with a few graphic tee options($45) and a snapback hat($45), all of which are available to match both the "Central Park" 530, and the "Brooklyn Bridge" 850. All of the pieces in the Kith NYC "Landmarks" collection will be available this Friday, November 28th, in-store at both Kith NYC locations, as well as online at Kith NYC and on the Kith mobile app for iPhone and iPad.
