Today we take a look back at yet another Ronnie Fieg x New Balance sneaker collaboration, today we'll be checking out the "Salmon Sole" 1300. The project between Kith frontman, Ronnie Fieg and New Balance released back on October 12th, 2012 in-store and online at Kith NYC, and like most New Balance collaborations, the "Salmon Soles" later dropped at a few additional New Balance retailers. The "Salmon Sole" 1300 borrows the Salmon shade Fieg made famous with his "Salmon Toe" Gel Lyte 3, for the outsole, tongue accents and also the insole. The upper on these 1300's is made up of a mixture of navy blue mesh and nubuck, a smooth navy blue leather tongue, and grey nubuck "New Balance" branding on the heel. The "Salmon Sole" also features teal "New Balance" branding and white accents on behind the "N" logo's and on the midsoles. When Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 1300 "Salmon Sole" collaboration dropped, Fieg had a little surprise for us, an extremely limited Ronnie Fieg x Shades of Grey Varsity Jacket that matched the "Salmon Sole" 1300 perfectly. Both the "Salmon Sole" 1300 and the Shades of Grey Varsity Jacket released back in October 2012, and retailed for $150 USD and $250 USD, respectively.
Take a look through some pictures of the Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 1300 "Salmon Sole" and let us know what you think, where do the "Salmon Sole" 1300's rank of your list of Ronnie Fieg collaborations with New Balance? A big thanks for my friend Duke over at Dukes Barber Shop for the assist on the sneakers, sadly I do not personally own a pair of the "Salmon Soles".
